Research Resources

Laboratory employees have access to a robust Research Library.  The Library acquires information resources in the physical and life sciences, engineering, technology, mathematics and some social sciences.

Collections include article databases, journals, ebooks, technical reports, reference works and more.  While the library collects publications in many formats, a strong preference is placed on acquiring digital resources, reformatting print resources, and ensuring long-term access to digital content.

The Research Library works closely with publishers, library consortia (California Digital Library CDL, National Laboratory Library Coalition NLLC), and other information services, to license, preserve and provide access to content.
